I feel like this has been the case for me since I was little.

When I was in elementary school, I remember summers going like this: Wake up. Pick up book from nightstand. Read in bed until parent forces outside. Read outside until it’s too hot. Read inside until parent forces outside. Repeat until bedtime. Read in bed until parent turns lights out. Go to sleep. Repeat until school starts.

What books did you read as fast as you could? Like potato chips?

I’ll go first: Every Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, and Hardy Boys back then. Every Penny Reid, Lauren Blakely, and Abby Jimenez now. 📚
